Green Sneakers EcoChallenge for Education

Back again for a second year, the EDW PTA is taking the GreenSneakers EcoChallenge for Education. Collection starts at the end of October and will go through Earth Day (April 22, 2012). Emmet D. Williams will have the opportunity to win $5000, and will collect $.50 per pound of shoes collected and weighed.  Spread the word!  Save your gently used sneakers!  Volunteer to help coordinate, weigh, and collect shoes.  Contact Rachel Wright at rachelwright72@gmail.com for more information or to volunteer to help.  Look for more information to come home later this month.  Thank you for your participation in this important and simple fundraiser for EDW PTA!

Box Tops for Education and Kemps Milk Cap
Collections

Please save your Boxtops from General Mills products and milk caps from Kemps milk cartons.  They can be sent in to school with your child and EDW receives cash donations for them from Kemps and General Mills Corps.  This is a simple way to raise money for our school without buying or selling any products.  Remember that you can enlist the help of family members and friends too!
