Community Service Hours (10 hrs/ school year) 

Variances for community hours need to be cleared by Ms.Riebel or Ms.Edwards. Seniors who do not turn in or have enough hours will not be designated as NHS at graduation.

Note: Opportunities labeled "new" only mean they were updated on the date below. Others not labeled as "new" doesn't mean they are out of date. Any opportunities listed are still available for grabs.

What: Roseville Gymnastics Booster Association Gymnastics Meet

When: November 18th-20th, specific times TBD

Additional Info: Need people to move gymnastics equipment around 6pm on the 18th, and move back on the 20th. Also need people on either Saturday or Sunday to help with score flashing and score keeping during the actual meet.

What: Youth Frontiers Retreat

When: Tuesday, November 29th, 8:30-2:30

Addtional Info: Need 6 people to help lead 6th graders during the retreat

What: Insect Fair

Where: University of Minnesota, Minneapolis Campus, Coffman Union Memorial Center

When: Saturday, December 3rd, 9-3

Additional Info: Will be assisting around 400 students grades 2-10 by handing out t-shirts, serve lunch, student poster set up, lead science sessions, find way around Coffman

What: 623 Walk/Run

Where: ED Williams School

When: Saturday, November 12th, 8-11

Additional Info: Will be acting as course marshals

What: Childcare during conference and PTA meetings

Where: Falcon Heights Elementary

When: Exact dates TBD, hours will range from 4:30-9PM, can volunteer any amount of time (30min, 1 1/2 hrs, etc.)

Additional Info: Games, coloring materials, books, and possibly movies will be provided. All you have to do is keep the kids entertained.

What: Peer Tutoring

Where: Roseville Library

When: Perferably on Mon, Tue, Wed 3-5PM

Additional Info: Guys and gals interested should contact Brian Smith (info below) since he's just getting the program started. Tutoring times aren't set, times mentioned above are more of an idea at the moment. No need for prior experience or expertise in a particular subject to tutor (although some good knowledge would be good :D)
