Our school is one of seven elementary schools in the Roseville School District. We are located in Shoreview, MN and enroll children from Roseville, Shoreview, Little Canada and surrounding communities. We have approximately 430 students in grades kindergarten through six and are fortunate to house a district-wide Jump Start to Kindergarten program which serves four and five year olds.

EDW staff and families work in partnership to provide excellent learning opportunities for each of our valued learners. Our curriculum is rich and challenging. Classrooms are structured around the components of Responsive Classroom which includes the belief that academic learning happens best within a positive social context. EDW students are expected to be prepared for learning, cooperate with others, be kind to all, show respect for school and personal property, and to do their best.

Children often ask me if it is hard to be a principal. I always respond by telling them that I have the best job in the world because I get to work each day with the best staff, the best families, and most importantly, the absolute best kids.
