Central Park is a contemporary neighborhood school offering innovative programs for grades K - 6. In addition to our classroom teachers, we have specialists in the areas of music (both general and instrumental), art, physical education, and media/technology. Our program includes both enrichment and intervention opportunities, as well as ELL and adapted learning environments for special needs. Before and after school care is provided by Friendship Connection, offering a range of activities. Our campus is adjacent to Roseville's Harriet Alexander Nature Center, which provides us with many enrichment opportunities in the areas of environmental science.

Absences: If your child will be absent from school, please call the office and let us know the reason. Voice mail is available during non-business hours. When your child returns to school after an absence, please send a brief note indicating the date and reason for the absence. If your child is absent and we do not hear from you by 10 AM, our attendance clerk will contact you.

Lunch and Breakfast Program: Student lunches cost $2.40. Breakfast is $1.65. A milk ticket costs $.50. This is a pay ahead program. We suggest purchasing 5 to 10 lunches and/or breakfast in advance. A student will be allowed to owe up to $5.00 before a cheese sandwich is given to the child. We must have current lunch account balances for each child this school year. A free and reduced lunch program is available for those who qualify. Forms can be obtained from the school's office.

Visiting: We welcome visitors! We ask them to sign the visitors' register in the office and wear a visitor's nametag. Volunteering: There are many opportunities for volunteer involvement. Please call the school for volunteer opportunities/information.

School Tours: We welcome family members and groups who may be moving into our attendance area or looking for a school. Please call the office to schedule a tour.
