Mission Statement

1. Act as a facilitator for communication and provide a forum for discussion for families, teachers, school administrators, students and community.

2. Seek human and financial resources to support the enrichment of our children and functioning of our school.

3. Support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools and the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.

Welcome to the 2011-2012 Parkview PTSA year.

We are looking forward to another great year, and invite parents, teachers and students to participate in the PTSA.  Parkview has a strong PTSA history of information sharing, building community and fundraising.  Our goal is to continue that tradition, involve more families and support Parkview and our students.

Officers for 2011-2012 are:

Co-presidents:  Sally Peine and Diane Holmgren Distad
Co-treasurers:  Liz Kaytor and Amy Zamow
Co-secretaries: Jodi Joriman and Deanna Kohanek

The Parkview PTSA typically meets at 6:30 p.m. the first Monday of the month in the Media Center, with dates noted in the biweekly calendar.  Meetings this year will include a rotation of business meetings and speakers. Our goal is to hold meetings that are relevant and interesting, so if you have any suggestions for speakers or topics that you would like to hear more about, please send them to:

diane.holmgren@gmail.com or sally.peine@creatis.com

All are welcome to attend PTSA meetings.  Please join us to connect with other parents and staff, learn, hear school and district updates, and share your input.
