Welcome Volunteers!

Volunteers are a vital part of the Falcon Heights School community. Each year hundreds of parents and community members take time to share their gifts with our students. We are very grateful for their partnership in the learning experience.

Volunteers help out with on-going, short-term, or one-time assignments. There is something to fit everyone's interest and schedule!

Here are some of the ways in which our volunteers participate:

  • Small Group and Individual Student Help
  • Classroom Prep Work
  • Field Trips
  • Open House/Pizza Dinner
  • Book Fairs
  • Yearbook
  • Reading Coaches
  • Hospitality
  • Childcare Supervision
  • Read-A-Thon
  • Information Center
  • Health Screenings
  • Kindergarten Round-up
  • Family Fun Night
  • Art Adventures
  • Bird's Word
  • Recycling
  • Class Plays
  • Tag Sale
  • Special Events and Much More!

Participation is solicited through our Volunteer Planner which is distributed to all families early in the school year. Additional opportunities are announced here and The Bird's Word.
